Experiencing the Wonderful Benefits of Yoga During Pregnancy

Up until the time that I was pregnant I wasn’t necessarily committed to exercise. I did it, but not religiously and when I did I really pushed myself. If I’m being honest here I was the type of person that hit the gym HARD after an all out food binge or feelings of guilt for being away for too long. Needless to say I was a high intensity, hard core cardio girl!

I had plenty of friends even before pregnancy that were big time into yoga. I can say that I maybe tried it once or twice but never really got it. Looking back I don’t think that I was necessarily taking the right classes for where I was at in my life. I also don’t think that I went into it with an open mind. Along came pregnancy and with it my entire mindset changed.

I almost instantly recognized that yoga could be a perfect workout to help me through this wonderful and yet sometimes challenging next nine months. My hunch was right for when I looked into it; I found that this was where I needed to focus my exercise energy. Not only would this help me to keep from gaining crazy amounts of weight, but it also had some pretty cool health benefits that cemented my decision to try it out.

It Will Seriously Help You to Chill Out

If you’re anything like me you probably thought that pregnancy would be all about joy, anticipation, and so much excitement. Yes you are going to feel those things but you are also going to experience a rollercoaster of emotions. I found that I faced a whole new set of things that stressed me out—fortunately yoga was there to help me.

The great thing about yoga is that it helps you to get focused and to really concentrate on yourself. Having this break from reality really helped me to relax and chill out. This in turn allowed me to step away from the stress or anxiety in my life and come back with a much clearer head. I also found that I felt so strong when I performed the various poses. Amongst my favorites was warrior pose http://www.abc-of-yoga.com/yoga-and-health/yoga-for-pregnancy.asp which not only helped to chill me out, but also made me feel like a strong pregnant goddess—who wouldn’t love that?

Not only did I feel relaxed while I was performing prenatal yoga, but I felt the positive impact afterwards as well. Whatever caused me stress was so much easier to deal with after a wonderful yoga session. So while I may have felt stressed about picking furniture for the baby’s room or anxious about the notion of becoming a mother for the first time, the yoga really helped to chill me out and feel balanced.

It Will Create a Much Healthier Pregnancy

The health benefits were far beyond my comprehension at first. Again you just assume that your belly will grow and that perhaps you will feel a bit of discomfort along the way, right? Well who knew that you would also have to worry about high blood pressure, improper digestion, and insomnia? I found these out the hard way but again found that yoga was my savior in all of this.

Some of the most common pregnancy symptoms or health conditions can be greatly alleviated by yoga. Not only did it help me to keep my blood pressure to a normal level which was starting to become an issue, but it helped with so many other things. I didn’t have the indigestion that first started when I started performing yoga regularly. I also found that I got a much better night of sleep. I attribute all of this to my constant state of relaxation and ability to decompress, but suffice it to say that all of this made for a much healthier and enjoyable pregnancy. Good for me and for the baby!

It Will Truly Prepare You for Delivery and Recovery

Many of us are pretty short sighted when it comes to our pregnancy. We are so focused on all of the changes in our body and this baby growing inside of us, that we may not think much about the future beyond that. It can be quite helpful to think of the delivery process even if it intimidates you and I started to really put some thought into it myself.

I learned early on that performing prenatal yoga throughout my pregnancy could help my body to properly prepare for labor and delivery. I also learned that yoga could help to ease the pain and make me more prepared to handle the process, such as being able to focus and handle the deep breathing. When I learned that yoga could also help me to have a smoother recovery, I was absolutely convinced that this was for me!

Yoga not only calms the body and the mind, but helps to prepare it for these pivotal final steps. I was able to really stay focused and calm during labor and my delivery was really smooth. I recovered much faster as the yoga helped to strengthen my joints and muscles. I was also able to take the weight off faster and that was amazing!

It Will Just Make You a Much Happier Person in General

When you are healthy you are happy! Through yoga I could manage my pregnancy symptoms much better. The nausea went away faster, the back pain became less of an issue, and I just felt healthy and balanced. I not only enjoyed the benefits during pregnancy but I think it made for a calmer delivery process and even a happier baby in general.

I highly recommend yoga to all of my pregnant friends. Even if you have never tried it before, consider taking a prenatal yoga class and see how much better you feel. If I can go from being a hard core cardio girl to a full fledged “yogi”, then you can jump on board and enjoy the benefits too!

What Not to Eat When Pregnant: Foods to Avoid During Pregnancy

I remember thinking that when I was pregnant someday I was going to eat my way through the nine months. This was my time to be able to eat anything that I wanted and not to have to feel guilty about it.

Then came my first doctor’s visit and that terrible list—you know, the list of all the foods that you’re not supposed to eat. How is this fair and how am I going to make it through nine months without eating some favorites?

The Raw, Undercooked, and Unpasteurized Are Long Gone

When in doubt, throw it out! You’ve heard that before…and now it’s time to apply that to your new lifestyle for nine months. At first I didn’t think much of this as I was confident that the foods that I ate were on the up and up. Until I realized just how many fit within this group and how dramatically my eating habits would change.

The undercooked, raw, and unpasteurized include quite a few foods and food groups including:

• Sushi: Anything at all made with raw fish is a “no no”

• Apple cider or fresh fruit juice: If you don’t know that it’s pasteurized then it’s no longer safe. This one really shocked me as I couldn’t imagine that some of my favorite juices were no longer safe!

• Undercooked meat: I could still enjoy a burger as I craved, but it could no longer be too pink in the middle. No more pink centers on my steak either. It would be hard but I could handle it—right?

• Cookie dough: Yes I will admit that I am a raw cookie dough addict. I don’t even care about the actual baked cookies and I know that I’m not alone in this. No more eating raw cookie dough for the next year or so, and this one caught me off guard too.

• Anything containing raw or undercooked ingredients: Who would have guessed that something like Caesar salad dressing was no longer safe? Yup, since it had raw eggs it could no longer be part of my repertoire. Same goes for any goodies like kibbie, which is essentially a delicious Mediterranean dish that I loved made with uncooked lamb. No more, and so I learned very quickly that if it seemed unsafe or if I wasn’t sure that I had to make it off limits for now. Bummer—but worth it in the end, right?

Anything With Potentially Harmful Bacteria or Substances

This sounds rather obvious, right? If it has the potential to introduce harmful bacteria to you or the baby then you just don’t eat it. I get it! While I may have understood the concept, I don’t think that I had any idea how many foods that this included. I was really surprised to see what foods should be carefully considered and therefore avoided.

Some of my favorites on the list were here, such as:

• Sushi: This is a double whammy because not only is it raw fish in most instances but it also contains many specific fish that could be harmful. If it contains a fish such as salmon, tilefish, or mackerel then it may introduce mercury. I didn’t need to know any more than that to recognize that sushi was not in my future. Sure I could enjoy vegetable sushi but I was too worried about it being prepared alongside something that could be truly harmful.

• Lunch meat or hot dogs: Yup, that’s right—just a simple turkey sandwich was not allowed in my new lifestyle. The problem with lunch meat or hot dogs is that they have the potential to contain listeria. This bacteria can cause birth defects and really interfere with the baby, so to me it was never worth it. They say that you can heat the meat to a certain temperature and then enjoy it, but to me it simply wasn’t worth it.

• Soft cheeses: This was by far the hardest one for me to give up and I was bummed about it. You may find that certain soft cheeses such as Brie or blue cheese are unpasteurized and more importantly that they can introduce harmful bacteria. I must say that it wasn’t easy giving up a Greek salad with feta cheese or a nice sprinkle of blue cheese on my vegetables, but in the end I was happy to make the short term sacrifice to protect my baby.

• Unwashed produce: You would be amazed at how many pesticides are used on the fruits and vegetables that we eat. Therefore if you don’t want to ingest them and any other harmful substances, wash your produce before you eat it. Some options such as raw sprouts were just not worth the worry and so I avoided them. Only for nine months became my mantra!

When In Doubt Use The Common Sense You Were Born With

Yes we all know that the first thing to go is alcohol. I’ll admit that was a hard one for me as there were times when a stressful day would have been nice to curb with a glass of wine, but this is where sacrificing as a mother starts.  I didn’t smoke so that wasn’t an issue, but if you just use common sense on this stuff you’ll be fine.

I found out that I could enjoy the daily cup of coffee but that my daily Starbucks addiction would have to draw to a close for a little while. In the end it boiled down to using common sense and really tuning into the maternal instinct that you may not realize you are developing already. If a food doesn’t look fresh or if it has been out for awhile, then don’t eat it.

This applies to foods left out at a store as a sample, foods that have been out for way too long at a picnic or social gathering, or even a doggie bag that you may have left in the car a bit too long. If you are considering eating a meal at a restaurant and it just doesn’t seem clean or on the “up and up” then don’t go there.

A few delicious bites of a favorite food simply weren’t worth the potential danger to my baby. I learned to really let my instincts guide me and make wise food choices. So while I may not have ate my way through my pregnancy one bite at a time, I ultimately felt good about making food choices that benefited my baby and my pregnancy. You have the instinct within you as a mother; you just may not realize it yet!

Finding Cute And Hip Maternity Clothes To Celebrate Your Baby Bump

Once I found out that I was pregnant I couldn’t wait until the time that I could shop for and wear the cute maternity clothes. I will admit that I had some preconceived notions about what types of clothes I would find that would actually help me to look adorable during this phase of my life.

I wanted cool maternity clothes, but I wondered if they were out there? I had a vision in my mind of all of the maternity clothes of the past where the main emphasis was to hide the belly. I didn’t want to hide my baby bump, but rather celebrate it!

This was the one time in my life that I could feel good about having a pronounced abdomen and so I wanted all the world to know that I was with child. So my quest began for finding cute maternity clothes that not only fit me well and celebrated my growing figure, but that would help to make me look good throughout the next nine months.

Classic But Cute Tops

In preparation for the summer months I wanted tops that were going to be trendy and cute, but that were also flattering to a mama-to-be like me. Let’s be honest, I wanted hip maternity clothes that allowed me to still feel like I was in fashion even as my belly grew.

I fell in love with the Short Sleeve Boat Neck Top that you see here http://www.motherhood.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=919540011&MasterCategory_Id=MC2 . What I love about this top was that it had a great pattern at the core and therefore fit the bill for the cute maternity clothes that I was looking for.

Not only is it trendy but I adore the fact that it ties in the front and therefore accentuates the baby bump. It works well with jeans, a nice pair of black pants for dressing up, or simply a pair of leggings. So no matter what the occasion I had a cute top that would be in fashion and that could help to pull a look together quite nicely.

This is the type of thing that I was looking for, but I worried was this just a one time thing? Could I actually find hip maternity clothes that allowed me to pay tribute to fashion, not feel frumpy and fat, and were affordable enough to fit a limited time budget? I’m happy to say that the answer is yes, and I find some fantastic little numbers!

The All Important Maxi Dress

I may not be a full fledged fashionista, but I do know what’s in and what looks good. I didn’t want to get too far away from that and instead wanted to feel like a hot mama even when my body wasn’t allowing me to. I wanted my clothes to show the world that while my body may be changing, I kept up with the latest trends and looked pretty good doing so—even if on most days I felt too tired or nauseas to care as much!

I knew that the maxi dress continued to be a great fashion trend and so I wanted in. I wasn’t sure how this trend would combine with the growing belly and ensuring that I didn’t feel like I was just wearing a drape. The good news is—yes there are some really cute maternity maxi dresses out there and I just love them! Check this one out here http://www.sweetpeamaternity.com/p-3273-blue-ruffle-maternity-maxi-dress.aspx and see for yourself.

It’s long and so it works well for dressing up or dressing down, which I loved because it meant good functionality and more uses. I love that you can find this type of dress in any number of colors and patterns. I not only think that I could use this in the here and now but also as I’m working to shed the baby weight. So not only do you get some cute maternity clothes out of a well constructed maxi dress, but you actually get to wear it a lot too. That’s a major score in my book!

Empire Waist and A Summer Must

If you are anything like me you will find that certain styles are a must during pregnancy. I adore the empire waist as it grows with you and shows in a flattering way that you are pregnant—not fat! It’s even more of a staple in your maternity wardrobe when you can find the empire waist in a sundress. I was beyond thrilled when I found this little gem http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=79556&vid=1&pid=104642&scid=104642042 .

I see now that all of the major retailers are on board with creating hip maternity clothes for the woman who wants to still look cute. I am a big fan of Old Navy and so I found that their maternity clothes were a great investment. I love this sundress just on looks alone and then when I found out that it had the empire waist I knew that this was a must have item for my closet. It was also affordable, which to me meant that I could get one in every color!

I know that I was so happy to find out that there are some cute maternity clothes out there to be found. You just have to do a little searching and you will find things that fit your budget, your style, and your needs for every occasion. I felt that I could still look fashionable and cute even as my body changed and grew. Gone are the days of hiding the belly, as these fashionable hits will celebrate it in a way that made me one happy mama!

Finding Cute Maternity Clothes is Easier Than You Think

I remember thinking that when my time came to be pregnant that I never wanted to look like a tent. You can probably identify with this as so many of the cool maternity clothes out there weren’t really so cool after all.

I can remember seeing pregnant women everywhere walking around in what looked like either drapes or big top circus tents, and so I was bound and determined not to fall into that trap.

Cuter Than You Think

Imagine my surprise when I first started shopping for cute maternity clothes and found that there were so many fantastic options out there. It seems like nearly every major retailer has gotten in on the act and therefore I felt like they were all working directly for me.

I was thrilled when I saw that there was everything from cute little sundresses to hip maternity clothes that featured trends as recent as bohemian in their offering. I was in love and I just knew that I could gain the baby bump and still look cute! I found that some of my favorite stores were the way to go as I didn’t want to spend a lot.

Sometimes you think that the cool maternity clothes are extraordinarily expensive, and considering that I was only going to be wearing these for a few short months.I didn’t want to go crazy with the money I spent.

You’ll Change But Not As Much As You Might

Think I used my size before pregnancy as a guide and that’s an important lesson to learn. Though you are going to gain weight, the type of frame that you carry beforehand is likely going to be what you maintain throughout. Yes I gained weight in everything from my butt to my chest, but in the end I still found that going for the equivalent of a Medium to Large worked well.

If you try to go for something too big then you end up with super cute maternity clothes that really do fit on you like a drape. Go for the cute outfits and venture out into some hip maternity clothes that feature the belly. It used to be that so many mamas out there wanted to hide the fact that they were pregnant. I personally wanted to celebrate it! I wanted to show the world that yes this is in fact a baby bump, and no I am not just fat! I loved being pregnant and finding the cool maternity clothes to show it off was really fun for me.

I Loved the Belly and You Can Too

Spend a little bit more on some centerpieces of your maternity wardrobe. Invest in a good pair of maternity jeans or black pants—trust me when I say that you are going to be wearing them a lot. Give yourself some room to grow but don’t go crazy because for me, though I gained weight I was still the same old me at the core.

There are so many cute maternity clothes to choose from these days and if you are anything like me you are going to have so much fun decking yourself out in the latest fashions that celebrate this special time in your life. Embrace the belly as I know that I did and I looked pretty cute in the process!

Vaginal discharge during pregnancy: Brown, Yellow and White Discharge During Pregnancy

The Types Of Discharge In Pregnancy

Women who are pregnant soon discover that the experience of having a discharge becomes a way of life. This is normal; some women have this almost every day. In fact, when a woman becomes pregnant, she notices an even higher occurrence than before. This is a natural way for the body to get rid of excess fluid which may come from the cervix and vagina. Although the discharge is usually not a risk for pregnant women, it is still a good idea to pay attention to it. The need for treatment will depend on the strength, color and odor of the discharge. Pregnant women should pay special attention to the type of discharge they are having.

White and yellow vaginal discharge should be carefully checked. White discharge usually occurs in pregnant women. This is a natural thing and it is often caused by an increase of hormones in the body.

Women have an increase in hormones such as progesterone during pregnancy. These hormones are very important for the pregnancy itself, and the woman’s body accommodates this change. These hormones stimulate the glands of the cervix. Then these are sent out of the body in the form of white vaginal discharge during pregnancy.

White vaginal discharge may be thick and sticky. Typically, this type of discharge has no odor. However, when a white vaginal discharge is accompanied by a strong smell, you may need to consider seeing the doctor. The smell alone may reveal another condition of the body which may be present.

If for some reason your white vaginal discharge comes with other symptoms, you should seek medical advice. Some women experience swelling of the vagina together with the discharge. It may also sometimes be accompanied by burning and itching. In such cases, a pregnant woman not only needs medical help, but also the diagnosis of such a condition.

Sometimes, this discharge is caused by an infection. For some women, it may be due to the presence of fungal infection. Fungal infections can be treated with antibiotics, as well as creams. These can provide relief for pregnant women, though usually only for a short period of time. Yellow discharge can occur because of very different reasons. Sometimes, this is due to the presence of sexually transmitted diseases. Diseases such as chlamydia and gonorrhea are detected with the presence of yellow vaginal discharge in females. Although these diseases can be treated, such a condition should be treated with caution when a woman is pregnant.

Many STDs can be transmitted to the baby during childbirth. Thus, the diagnosis in these cases is especially important. Yellow discharge can also be present because of cervical polyps or other conditions. There is also the pelvic inflammatory disease which is known to cause yellow discharges from the vagina. Finding the best treatment for any of these conditions is very important during pregnancy. A consultation with your doctor can help you determine which options are best for you and your child.

How Soon Can You Take A Pregnancy Test: How Early Can You Take A Pregnancy Test?

When should I take a pregnancy test?

A pregnancy test can be administered at home, a clinic or hospital, at the doctor’s office or a labaratory.  Now, the location depends on the urgency of knowing the results.

How soon can you take the pregancy test? Many home pregnancy tests (HPTs) claim to be 99% accurate on the day you miss your period. The HPT’s are able to detect a change in hormonal levels of the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the blood or urine.  Research suggests that most HPTs do not consistently spot pregnancy that early. And when they do, the results are often so faint they are misunderstood. If you can wait one week after your missed period, most home pregnancy tests will give you an accurate answer. The HPT’s vary in price from as little as $1, to as much as $20 per kit.  Sometimes one has to repeat the test to be sure about the result.

Who uses the home pregancy test?  There are women who really want a child and are eager to find out if the fertilized egg has been implanted in the womb. Then, there are women and girls who have had sex and may have conceived without intending to bear a child. These women and girls want to confirm their status.  Upon learning they are with child then they go through the process of either being happy and looking forward to being a mother or are upset and go through a multitude of emotions about the life forming within her.  Then there are women who are neither here nor there and leave the conception to her natural system; she’ll conceive when her body is ready. In other words she leaves conception to fate.

When to take a pregnancy test – When a woman has missed two periods, this naturally confirms that she is with child.  I have observed women who are geared toward having a career in the fast paced rat race in the corporate conglomerates, are not very laid back about getting pregnant.  That is not to say that they pooh hoo on being mothers, it is just that their priorities are different.  They, thus, tend to plan the birth of their child or children very carefully and with precision.  Where precision is required, a doctor comes into play, a gynocologist to be exact.

How early can you take a pregnancy test? Your gyno can be asked for a more sensitive test if one needs to know early about pregancy.   The doctor usually draws the woman’s blood to test for the hCG hormone.  This test can be done as early as 12 days after conception.  Now, take into consideration that each woman has her own unique menstral cycle so the results of the test will vary from woman to woman.  The fact remains that if a woman is pregnant, the evidence will be seen as plain as day, three to four weeks after conception.  At about this time one will be approaching the 2nd period after their last real show of the flow of her period.

How does your body function?  Personally, I fall in the group of women who will wait until the body itself confirms that I am pregnant and I begin to notice the changes in my body.  I am well tuned to how my body functions and know that I can conceive three weeks after my monthly period.    I also have high blood pressure, gotten during my pregnancies and decided to stay after I gave birth. I am unable to take oral contraception.  I am averse to being a pin cushion so the injectable contraception is out.  The coil is a contraception gadget placed in one’s uterus.  I do not want to have a stair-case load of children so I have to be careful when I have sex.  I know of women, in this day and age, who have over 10 children who are very close in age.

Specialized and guided pregnancy tests.  There are women who have difficulty conceiving and have to go through the exercise of measuring her temperature to know when she is ovulating so that the timing of the fertilization of the egg is spot on.  Whether the fertilization of the ova is done naturally or in a test tube, the woman has to wait to know if the zygote has emplanted itself in the womb and the system has began to produce the preganacy hormone hCG.  In this case, the woman will know way sooner than the rest of us if she’s pregnant or not.  This tends to be an expensive route to proceed as many tests are administered and the gyno has to collect his or her fees.

All in all, the time of taking the pregnancy test boils down to the urgency of the woman desire to know if she’s going to be a mother.

Weight Gain In Pregnancy: What Is The Average Weight Gain During Pregnancy?

Healthy weight gain during pregnancy is expected and should not cause concern. Normally, a pregnant mom weighs 15-35 pounds, and it depends on the weight of the mother. On average, 1 pound at least is added every month during pregnancy, and this is sufficient reason for the increase in weight is required. Some important facts should make us realize that excessive weight gain during pregnancy can also be risky. Here are some pregnancy weight of evidence that will help shed light on the issue.

There is good reason why the mother should provide a healthy environment for your child.Unborn child is still dependent on the mother’s diet. The development of the child in the womb, is also an important indicator usually manifests itself in weight gain.

What leads to weight gain during pregnancy? The child weighs about 8 pounds. The placenta, uterine fluid, and amniotic fluid, and weighs 2 pounds each. Maternal tissues and blood also add up to eight to ten pounds. The body also needs to store nutrients for the baby, and it’s 8 pounds in order to feed the baby all the products needed for the child grow. If you add all this, there are 20 to 35 pounds of additional weight of the mother. So how would someone know if she has a healthy weight?

Body weight is best explained by body mass index. Measure the weight of the height. If the mother is the weight, she should at least gain 28-40 pounds during pregnancy. For mothers are overweight, they should be more or less about 15-25 pounds. These calculations are perfect, of course, does not apply to mothers with multiple births, or a big kid.

Mothers are often difficult to gain weight during the first quarter. It must be because some of the issues, such as morning sickness and other factors. The child at this time of need just a few calories, so no need to really worry about it.

Mother is always advisable to eat healthy foods so that it can provide the necessary nutrients for the baby. Gaining weight does not mean acceptance of products, which are completely rubbish. Doctors and nutritionists may recommend a healthy diet and food choices for mothers.

Excess weight during pregnancy is easy to play on after birth, especially when they begin to nurse the child. The fact is that mothers burn more calories than in 1000 during breastfeeding so that she could easily return to your original weight. Exercise is also the best way to get back in shape.

With all these facts in mind, most mothers do not have to worry about gaining weight during pregnancy. In itself, knowing that your body can hold precious lives and cares for him or her for the next nine months is really a miracle.

Cramping During Early Pregnancy: What To Do If You Have Cramps During Early Pregnancy

What Does Cramping During Pregnancy Mean?

Cramping in early pregnancy is familiar to most women who were pregnant. In fact, it can often be the first sign that you actually conceived. Cramping during pregnancy can take different forms. In most cases, they may feel like menstrual cramps, and these you will likely feel the first. As pregnancy progresses, you may also have stomach pain, your digestive system adjusts to the new situation.

Cramping in early pregnancy can range from very mild to very severe. In all cases, if you do not know you are pregnant, experiencing menstrual-like cramping at the wrong time in your cycle can be an early indicator of pregnancy. Cramps may be known as 8-10 days after conception. If you continue to feel this pain with progression of pregnancy, do not worry, it’s normal for cramps to occur as adjustments are made in your abdomen for a growing baby.

Cramping during pregnancy can also take the form of abdominal cramps usual. When you are pregnant your body begins to produce large amounts of progesterone and can create changes that may result from cramps. One change is that digestion is slower, more nutrients and fluids can be passed to the fetus. Because your digestive system does not work as was the case, you may experience cramps in the abdomen that your digestive system does its job at a slower pace.

Constipation is one of the most common problems that pregnant women face. Cramping during pregnancy can often be the result of constipation. Since your body takes longer to digest, and removes more liquid to be added to the blood stream, the waste moves out of your digestive tract more slowly than normal, and cramping may result. When you try to stop constipation, due to greater fiber intake, your body can tilt in the opposite direction, causing diarrhea. Cramping during pregnancy can often be attributed simply to the current transformations in thy womb, as waste is moved a little faster than you would have liked.

Cramping in early pregnancy can also be an indicator of a more serious condition such as an ectopic pregnancy. An ectopic pregnancy occurs when the fertilized egg fails to reach the uterus where it needs to grow, and stops in the fallopian tube instead. You’ll probably find it in the first six weeks. If treated early pregnancy and ectopic pregnancy can be managed without affecting his or her baby.

Cramping during pregnancy is likely to be experienced by most women at some point. The key is knowing what to expect and understand how your body works, so you can keep pace with the changes that occur. While most of colic are not cause for alarm, if you find those who seem to be particularly severe, be sure to consult your doctor immediately.
